The BBC and IBA both recommend external roof mounted aerials when freeview reception is required.
It is possible to have a freeview aerial that will work in your loft but this option is only ever recommended where there is no alternative, e.g. you are not allowed an outside aerial.
We can install loft aerials for freeview and have many successful loft installations but these loft installations are using a larger more expensive high gain aerial and sometimes with the addition of an amplifier to compensate for the aerial being mounted in the loft.
The digital TV aerials we supply are digital UK approved and are compatible with Freeview integrated TVs, Freeview digi boxes and BT Vision set top boxes.

Our £99.00 digital TV aerial is by no means basic in terms of quality and will provide high quality digital TV reception in many areas.
Loft aerial reception test charge
If you cannot have or do not want an externally mounted freeview TV aerial and want us to test for freeview reception with the aerial mounted within the loft space we are quite happy to give this a try but would charge for our time, a loft aerial reception test would usually take us 45 minutes as a test requires almost as much work as a complete installation, the loft aerial reception test charge is only charged if the loft installation does not go ahead, if we gain suitable results we would complete the installation.
High gain digital TV aerial range
Our installation vehicles carry a wide array of larger more powerful digital aerials and these are usually the most basic we would attempt to install in a loft space as they will gain much better results. These high gain aerials are purpose designed for poorer reception conditions created by loft aerial installation.
Our range of digital aerials are approved digital quality, they carry the digital tick logo and will work with Freeview and BT Vision receivers or your TV's built in Freeview tuner.

Have undergone our stringent in-house induction training and follow industry best practice guidelines and our own practice and procedures.
Have completed current safe 'working at heights' training and have current certificates on file.
Have undergone a CRB check and provided a satisfactory clear criminal records disclosure within the last 12 months.
Have an absolute minimum of three years experience in aerial and satellite installation. Our current average is over 12 years experience.
Are registered with the RDI-LB (registered digital installers - licencing body).
